Braum's Book Buddy
Sept 1 - May 21
Purpose: Braum's Book Buddy is a reading incentive program for students in Gr 1-5 created as an effort to promote a positive attitude in children and a lifetime love of reading. Students receive a Braum's coupon after he/she has read six books. Readers can earn up to 6 free Braum's treats (Single Dip Sundaes, Single Dip Ice Cream Cone and more) throughout the year.

Pizza Hut's Book It!

Purpose: Book It! is a reading incentive program that is held for six months of the school year for Grades K-6. Students who reach their monthly reading goal get a certificate for a free, one-topping personal pan pizza.

Six Flags' Read to Succeed
Jan 1 - Feb 28/29
Purpose: This unique recreational reading program for K-6 students provides students an opportunity to earn a free ticket to their nearest Six Flags Park. Each student who reads and logs 600 minutes during the 2 month period will receive a free ticket.

Texas Bluebonnet Award
The Texas Bluebonnet Award (TBA) reading program was established in 1979 to encourage Texas children to read more books, explore a variety of current books, develop powers of discrimination, and identify their favorite books.
The program is aimed at students in grades 3-6. Participating students must read a minimum of five books from the current master list of nominees before they may vote for their favorite title. Voting takes place on the last day of January each year.
